Newsflash January 09

Now is the time to start planning & booking your holiday to the Coral Coast, Pilbara, Kimberley and Northern Territory for 2009.

From Darwin or Broome to Perth self-drives; small group 4WD adventures to Kimberley cruising - early bookings are a must to avoid disappointment.

Queensland

With the islands of the Great Barrier Reef, sun-kissed beaches and lush rainforests – Queensland is one of our favourite holiday destinations. When planning a visit to North Queensland do keep in mind weather conditions – Dry Season is from April to October (Peak) and Wet Season is from November to March (Shoulder to Off Peak).

Brisbane

The pace can be as fast or as slow as you choose in this sunny, modern city. Enjoy fine dining and visit the Cultural Centre home to some of the nations leading art institutions. Relax on the beach at SouthBank, dive into water sports, explore the nearby hinterland, mix with locals in eclectic suburban precincts.

Great Barrier Reef

Gorgeous Islands await you. Lizard Island for its sparkling swimming bays, Dunk Island with it's rainforest and many activities,  Heron Island for snorkelling from your doorstep, Bedarra and Wilson for an exclusive holiday - and more - just let us know your preference.

Tropical North Queensland

Paradise can be found here where the ‘rainforest meets the reef’. Visit unique natural attractions such as the Great Barrier Reef for snorkelling or diving and World Heritage listed tropical rainforests. Whether it’s a luxury break, an island adventure or outback soft adventure - this region offers an unforgettable experience.

Whitsundays

In the heart of Queensland's Great Barrier Reef, lie the Whitsundays, 74 islands floating like jewels in the tropical warm waters of the Coral Sea. Whether it is stay on one of the islands such as Hayman or Hamilton Island or perhaps a day trip to Whitehaven Beach from nearby Airlie Beach we can be help you out.

Or for the most fascinating, exciting and relaxing holiday of a lifetime with you and just a few companions with all the creature comforts on hop on board a luxury yacht -  explore the crystal clear water and cobalt blue skies – the best months to sail are July through to October. It is also between Jul to Mid September when the magnificent Humpback Whales can regularly be seen in the area.

Can also recommend a ‘Reef Sleepover’ ex Airlie Beach or Hamilton Island – this is a fantastic experience for couples and families perfect for snorkellers and also certified divers.

Fraser Coast

The Fraser Coast region is a filled with natural wonders and some of the world's most unique attractions. It boasts World Heritage listed Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world, with spectacular coloured sands, freshwater lakes – Lake McQuarie is just gorgeous and towering rainforests. And then there's Hervey Bay, the whale watching capital of Australia and popular access point to the Great Barrier Reef.

Cape York Peninsula

Cape York Peninsula is also called the Tip and if you enjoy adventure, is well worth travelling through. There are plenty of places to stop along your journey through the Cape York Peninsula and several islands off of the far northern tip.

Diggers Rest Station

Digger's Rest Station is a rustic homestead located in the East Kimberley. One of our favourite places to visit. Digger's Rest offers a unique outback experience with warm hospitality.
