From Darwin or Broome to Perth self-drives; small group 4WD adventures to Kimberley cruising - early bookings are a must to avoid disappointment.

Perth - The Gateway

Perth and Surrounds

Perth is the gateway city for most visitors to Western Australia, set on the banks of the broad Swan River. This modern city is often described as the most isolated city of its size in the Western World. A fun city where the Mediterranean climate allows for plenty of outdoor activities.

The whole region around Perth has been likened to one big holiday resort with so many attractions, great climate, miles of clean beaches and waterways, theatre, fine dining and sports of every kind and accommodation to suit every budget. A World class Casino and entertainment complex right in the heart of the city, tours, cruises, self-drive options and a year round programme of special events.

Summer - December, January, February

A lower Western Australian Summer boasts average temperatures close to 30°C with long, sun filled days. The sun rises shortly before 6am and the sun sets spectacularly over the Indian Ocean after 7pm settling into warm balmy evenings.

Autumn/Fall - March, April, May

Summer stretches into late Autumn in Western Australia with warm temperatures in the mid to low 20°C's offering consistently warm and pleasant days with cool evenings.

Winter - June, July, August

Western Australian winters are mild with regular sunny days. With low rainfall and humidity, winter is a season to be enjoyed in Western Australia.

Spring - September, October, November

Perhaps the most visually spectacular season of all in Western Australia. Marking the return of warm weather, the longer sun filled days and brisk evenings of Spring are a delight. The native flora comes to life in spring with breathtaking wildflowers in full bloom.
