Now is the time to start planning & booking your holiday to the Coral Coast, Pilbara, Kimberley and Northern Territory for 2009.

From Darwin or Broome to Perth self-drives; small group 4WD adventures to Kimberley cruising - early bookings are a must to avoid disappointment.

Self-Drive Touring
Australia is an ideal place to experience a self-drive holiday. Especially in Western Australia  and the NT you should find uncrowded roads and though some long distances involved, generally easy driving.

However one really does need to know all the ins and outs of car rental especially in remote destinations - what's included or not and the variances with planning on one way hire. Ech year the car rental companies release terms and conditions and they can change. One company may allow the 4WD vehicle to go up to Mitchells Falls but don't offer unlimited kms, another may include unlimited kms but won't allow the vehicle up the Kalumburu Road to the falls. Another may have 15 day min hire for a one way and you only want 7 days on the Gibb River Road. We work with a few major car companies hence we can review and suggest the best deal or arrangment to suit your needs .

A car-based independent way of travelling, allows you some 'serendipity' and you'll be in charge of your holiday. We provide fully detailed itineraries to give you the richest holiday experience avaialble in each area for each day. This is based on our own local knowldege and experience - this is our neck-of-the woods after all!

We try and keep up-to-date with what hotels have refurbised and when; we would rather put you in a good 3 or 4 star hotel that has been recently refurbed than perhaps the 5 star hotel you may have asked for but maybe geting a little shabby. We receive lots of constructive feedback from our clients and we do take note. We recommend restaurants to try (or avoid) and will let you know about 'must do's' on your tour plan. There are some tours at certain times of year that must be prebooked even on a self-drive holiday - we'll let you know.
